On the tack front for 2016

I haven't done a 'whole lot' of tack making recently, just a few small projects but these small ones are immensely satisfying!

The most recent project is this Competition Bridle with a Mexican Grackle noseband. This bridle combination is commonly called a 'figure eight' bridle which is incorrect, a figure eight bridle doesn't sure the rings on the sides to apply pressure.

Figure 8 Bridle (PC Dover Saddlery)
This bridle is my first using half width lace, although it gives a much more refined looking style I will continue to sell bridles with full width lace because of the increased labor and fragility.

I also experimented with a new open front jumping boot prototype.

Perfecting my rope halters....

and testing out an idea for magic twist bridles.

And lastly a new blingy gaming bridle!

This post is not including a new GP English set that Emma commissioned in a trade, picture of that will be coming soon!
